Disney Vacation Club Members make the most of their membership. It looks like you’ve just checked out of your most recent Disney Vacation Club stay. I’m sorry we didn’t get to your question sooner, but let’s talk about my least favourite part of a Disney vacation: checkout!
At Walt Disney World, you have two options when
checking out of your Disney Resort, and neither involves queuing at the front desk. The first is to checkout using the
My Disney Experience app, as long as you have a credit card saved to your room account. The other is automatic checkout. After 11 am, you’ll receive an itemised list of charges by email, or you can view them in the app. On occasions where I plan to use a Disney Gift Card or another method to settle the balance, I always head to the front desk the night before to pay it off.
Express checkout usually runs smoothly and saves a lot of time on your departure day. But if you run into any problems, I recommend going straight to the front desk. They’ll be able to look into your account and help based on your exact circumstances.
Now, the only real downside to a Disney vacation is that it has to end. But I always remind myself, if it doesn’t end, how can the next one begin?!
