I am trying to check in for my cruise and my mom and her passport won't be able to come in time for the cruise and I saw that online that you can use an Original Certificate of Naturalization but when I was unable to find this option while checking in.

Ahoy there Sammie!  Your magical vacation is quickly approaching, so I hope you and your pirate crew are getting excited.

I contacted the Disney Cruise Line Help Center to ensure I got the correct travel documentation answer for you.  The Cast Member shared that you will enter the Original Certificate of Naturalization under Birth Certificate.  Since this document must be reviewed in person, she will receive an email from Disney Cruise Line on the next steps.

When you arrive at the port, it is important to have these documents in your carry-on and not in your checked luggage because you will need them before you head onboard.  The porters will be taking your checked luggage from you, and you will not see them until later in the day.  Disney Cruise Line offers a handy packing list that helps to take out some of the guesswork in your planning.

Sammie, if you have any other questions, planDisney is here for you.  Sail back to us anytime.

    Adventure is out there!
