Hello Chrystal,
May I begin by wishing you a very warm welcome to planDisney. It's totally tiggerific to see you here today.
It's such an unmagical task to have to fully
cancel a vacation booking made at Walt Disney World Resort, therefore I'm very sympathetic to hear that you've had to cancel a reservation of your own. Plus, it sure does make it extra tricky when you've been thus far been unable to check to see if your cancellation has actioned a payment refund.
Generally speaking, it does depend on the type of Disney reservation you have as to whether you will be able to either cancel the reservation online via
My Disney Experience or if you would need to call the Disney Reservation Center to ask Cast Members for their guidance and assistance in actioning a cancellation and any potential refunds.
It might be useful to know that after signing in to your My Disney Experience account and heading to
My Reservations, you might still be able to see your reservation listed. And, if it were still possible to cancel your reservation online, you’d be able to see a link to
Cancel Reservation.
Chrystal, if this is not the case, perhaps your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation may only be cancelled over the phone with a helpful Cast Member.
To connect with a Disney Reservation Center Cast Member, please go ahead and dial the telephone number contained within this handy link. Prior to calling, you'll want to be sure to have all your pertinent booking information, reservation numbers, and original payment method close to hand.
Chrystal, please do bear in mind that a fee may be applied to any amendments or cancellations made to bookings made at Walt Disney World Resort.
I sincerely hope I've been able to provide a little pixie-dusted insight for you today. If you should have any further questions, then please don't hesitate to pop back to
me here at planDisney.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
