Ahoy there, Michael! Welcome aboard planDisney!
I'm sorry to hear those darned seven miners are dig dig dig dig dig dig dig digging their way through the Disney Cruise Line website for you! Sometimes, it would be really nice for them to file a plan with the port to help us know what construction will be going on, but without charting a course, sometimes they pop up where we Guests least expect them!
Sometimes, this happens especially frequently after announcements for new itineraries happen, or when other exciting D
isney Cruise Line news is released! With the last few weeks containing the
Disney Wish's inaugural sailing, the remainder of
Fall 2023 itineraries released, and just generally a busy time on the site, I've seen my fair share of our seven friends, myself!
One thing that sometimes helps me is doing a hard refresh of the site by holding down the CONTROL key and pressing F5. If that still has me meeting Happy, Sleepy, Dopey, Doc, Grumpy, Bashful, and Sneezy, I try closing out all of my browser tabs...I WISH I could say there were only seven...and windows and open a brand new window.
If you're running into this issue over a long period of time, as you have and none of my usual fixes work, however, I would
definitely reach out to a crew member (both by phone and by
email) to address your issue. Depending on the changes you're looking to make to your cruise, you may be able to do so more easily with the help of a crew member. Oh, and remember, things like choosing a sail date for a placeholder or canceling certain onboard activities must be done over the phone!
I wish I could be of more help, but hopefully, my go-to fixes help Snow White's Dwarfs go on break for you to manage your cruise activities! Thank you for your question, Michael, and if you have any others as you continue planning, please sail my way again here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
