    Trying to change my reservation to a different day. How can I do that?

    Hi Maria, thanks so much for visiting us here at planDisney! This is a fantastic question - I'm glad you asked! Sometimes our plans change, and you absolutely can change your theme park reservations. It looks like you originally set your arrival date to January 5 when you asked this question, so I'm hoping this answer will still help you!

    Before I walk you through the steps, though, it will involve canceling your existing reservations, so please make sure to first check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the days you're looking to switch to are available. After you've confirmed there is availability on the dates you're looking to change to, here are the steps for changing those reservations:

    1. Head to the Disneyland Resort website and login
    2. Hover over "My Disneyland" located in the top right corner of your screen and select "Ticket and Reservation Details"
    3. Scroll down a bit on this page and click "View My Park Reservations"
    4. You should see your upcoming park reservations on this next page, so now all you need to do is click "Cancel Reservation" for the days you want to change.
    5. Now that those days are freed up, you can reserve the new dates you were looking at

     

    If you're still planning on visiting this month, there is so much to do and see! At Disney California Adventure Park, the Lunar New Year celebration kicks off on January 20. Then on January 27, the Disney100 celebration begins, which includes the opening of the new Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction in Disneyland Park!
