Hi there, Maria! Welcome to planDisney!
A trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most magical time of the year? Lucky you! I'm sure you'll have a blast at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few months. If you're looking for a fun activity for all ages or more of a low-key day, be sure to check out the
Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs. All around this outdoor district, you'll find beautifully decorated, awe-inspiring Christmas trees with a hint of Disney magic. My family and I love finding all the trees as we shop and snack around
Disney Springs.
Maria, changing a dining reservation is a pretty simple process. Open up your
My Disney Experience Mobile App and tap the menu button in the bottom right corner. Click "Future Plans," then locate the dining reservation you'd like to change. Click on the reservation and choose the blue pencil icon labeled "Modify." Next, you can search for the new date to find available times.
A quick word of warning- December is a very popular time for Guests to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Since you are already within 60 days of those dates, many Guest-favorite restaurants and popular dining times will likely be booked. If you can't find what you're hoping for, my best advice is to keep your current reservation and just keep checking! You can check every day, even multiple times per day leading up to your vacation in hopes of finding an available dining time.
Many restaurants also utilize a
Mobile Dine Walk-Up List. This option allows you to use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to join a "Walk-Up" waiting list at the time you'd like to dine. If you're unable to get an
advance dining reservation, this may be a good option for your party during your visit. I usually have the most luck using the Walk-Up List as soon as the restaurant opens up! I'll keep my ears crossed that you're able to make your dining dreams come true!
Have a magical day and a magical vacation, Maria!
