Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your question! While I'm happy to hear you have a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up next week, I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble getting the
Disney Genie+ Service added to your selection.
I wasn't sure from your question, but have you already purchased your tickets for your visit? Currently, there are two points where you can add Disney Genie+ Service: when you are purchasing your tickets or after you scan your tickets in at the entrance to one of the parks.
If you have not already purchased your theme park tickets, then you'll just need to follow the prompts on the
Disneyland website. It will walk you through the type of tickets, your theme park reservations, and any add-ons like Disney Genie+ Service or a parking voucher.
If you have already purchased your tickets, then you'll just need to wait until you arrive for your trip! Once you scan your ticket at the entry gate, you can open up the
Disneyland mobile app and follow the prompts to purchase Disney Genie+ Service and you'll get access right away.
I've utilized both methods, personally! While Disney Genie+ Service is subject to availability, it's been very rare in my experience for it to close for a day due to high demand. My recommendation is to hop in the mobile app as soon as you get in the park to purchase and add it on for the rest of your trip.
