Hiya, Kim! Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question.
Like you, I love using Disney Gift Cards at the
Disneyland Resort. You are correct - you can only use one gift card when
purchasing theme park admission tickets online. You'll need to combine them by registering them on the
Disney Gift Card website and transferring the balances from one card to another up to the maximum amount. Additionally, you can only use one method of payment when checking out, so you may have to complete multiple transactions if your Disney Gift Card doesn't cover the total amount. This may not be an issue for buying one admission ticket; however, if you are buying for a group you may need to use the Disney Gift Card toward some of the tickets, and then put the remaining tickets on another method of payment, such as a credit card, in a second transaction.
Kim, you can also use a Disney Gift Card to pay for merchandise and dining throughout the parks and in the
Disneyland Mobile App for payment on mobile orders. Just a note here that you can't save the gift card in the app but I like to copy the number so that I can easily paste it in during mobile order checkout.
I hope this answers your question, Kim. Please visit us again with any other questions!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
