Hi Laura and welcome to planDisney!
One of the perks of living in the Sunshine State is the additional options for
Walt Disney World annual passes. I just love the flexibility of visiting the parks as often as possible and
being a Passholder does just that.
One of the options to verify proof of Florida residency is through
Digital Residency Verification online. Usually this means your Florida driver license issued by the DMV. If this is the ID you are trying to use online and it's still not working, you can try
giving Disney a call to see if a friendly Cast Member can help you get the online verification to work. Otherwise, you'll need to show your ID in person and that is all you will need. There is
other acceptable documentation to show proof of residency, but you shouldn't need that if you have your license. Once the pass is activated in person, you can enter the theme parks.
When you purchase your Disney Pixie Dust Pass online, it will either be automatically linked to your
My Disney Experience account or you can link it using the purchase confirmation number that will come in your email shortly after you complete the purchase. Once the pass is linked, you can
make theme park reservations for your upcoming trip, even if your residency is not yet verified. If you are staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, you can make those park reservations for every day of your stay. If you are staying off property, you can make up to 3 park reservations at a time.
I highly recommend adding the
Disney PhotoPass Downloads to your annual pass. You will get a whole year of any photos you take with a PhotoPass photographer plus your attractions photos. These can be downloaded right from the My Disney Experience Mobile App and shared immediately with friends, family and on social media. I love having all access to my Walt Disney World family photos!
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
