I am trying to buy a package to stay in a Disney Resort and buy the tickets together. Am I doing something wrong or are the tickets really that much more expensive when bought in the package than they are when bought alone in the same website?

I think you're probably the victim of technical difficulties, Gabriela.  The Disney website has been a bit ornery as of late and you're probably experiencing the repercussions of that.  Theme park tickets should not be any more expensive when purchased with a package than when purchased separately.  The website might be adding things that you're unaware of (vacation insurance, upgraded room views, dining plan, etc).  If you've checked all of those things and you're sure that you are getting a quote for exactly what you want, I would opt to call a reservation agent instead.  You can reach them at 407-WDW-STAY.  The person you speak with will be able to give you an accurate quote.  Good luck!
