I am trying to buy the Canada Resident Ticket, but I get "Sorry, the ticket type you selected is not currently available" Does it mean, Canada Resident tickets ran out? Is there a limited number of Canada Resident tickets available per year?

Salut Carmen, and welcome to planDisney!

It's so wonderful to welcome so many Canadians down to Orlando on their Walt Disney World Resort visits, especially with the return of special offers, deals and discounts specifically aimed at fellow Canucks looking to save during their stay. I had heard from other guests in Canada who were having some difficulty trying to access the current promotion online this past week, so I contacted the Walt Disney World Resort Support Cast Members and also tested it out myself.

You'll be happy to hear that guests were still able to call in directly to apply this promotion while this was temporarily unavailable online. At the current time it has since been resolved and you should now be able to purchase Canada Resident Tickets once again (you may need to clear your browser cache and make sure that you're accessing this offer on the Canadian version of the Walt Disney World Resort website in order to be able to view it). The Cast Members I reached out to assured me that at the current time these tickets have not run out, but also let me know that this is a limited-time offer that is not guaranteed every year - so I encourage many Canadians to jump on it while they can!

Since you'll be making the trip down during the summer months, you might also be interested in some of the other offers currently available - especially if you're looking at going to the theme parks for less than five days. The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket is one of the most popular choices for folks and families looking to visit each of the theme parks one day at a time while the Special 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket could be an excellent choice for anyone not necessarily heading to Magic Kingdom Park. Offerings are subject to availability and may change without prior notice, so depending on your plans it could be something to look into just as long as you're within the validity period that ends in late September.

I hope that this helps, Carmen! Come back to planDisney again for any other tips or advice from our team, especially fellow Canadians Nilson or Candace who can also answer your questions en français!

Wishing you a splendid summer trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
