I am trying to budget for our upcoming trip. We have purchased the dining plan and I know gratuities are not included, what about tax, is it included or extra?

Hello Andrea and welcome back to the Moms Panel.

Great decision on buying one of Walt Disney World dining plans.  My family always has enjoyed the benefits and value these offer, especially at Character and Signature dining experiences.
Since gratuities are not included it is a good idea to look at the menus during the planning process.  This way you will have enough time and know exactly how much to save and cover this additional cost.
Remember that an 18 percent gratuity charge will be added for parties of six or more guest.

Fortunately, you will not have to worry about tax, as it is already included on the food ordered with the dining plans.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear more from you.
