Hello, Silvia,
Welcome to planDisney. It’s a pleasure to help you plan your visit to the Disneyland Resort. I’m sorry to hear you have been having issues with booking a Disneyland Resort Hotel stay. Your issue appears to be similar to other reports I have read in the past. Hopefully, I can offer a few tips that may help you to overcome this challenge.
A few months ago, several questions like yours started to make me curious about this issue. Since virtually all of the questions about difficulty booking Disneyland Resort Hotel stays were from Guests from outside the United States, I tried ways to reproduce the issue. (It must be my engineering tendencies!) Using a web browser that could act as if it was connecting from Europe, I found I could see the same issue. When I went through the hotel booking steps, I would run into a dead end when room rates would not display or the rooms were all listed as unavailable. But when I did the same thing from a local web browser, I was still able to see multiple available rooms.
I reached out to a few of my planDisney pals from around the world to see what they saw. My friends from Brazil and the United Kingdom were able to successfully see hotel room rates and go through the booking process. But my friend from Mexico saw the same undesirable results I saw in my experiments. Since then, I have submitted a request for technical help with the Disneyland Resort website. I’m not sure if my request is what made a difference for me or not, but my more recent attempts have been more successful. So I’m hopeful that we can find a way to get it to work for you too.
First of all, I can verify that in my attempts to look up Disneyland Resort Hotel rooms, I can see several different room types available to book starting on the date of your planned arrival. Now, if we can just get them to show up for you too!
Here are some possible steps you might take to hopefully restore your ability to see Disneyland Resort Hotel room rates again:
- It may help to make an attempt using a different web browser or device.
- I have often found that clearing website data or cookies helped to clear up issues like this. If you want to narrow the data to clear, I would recommend clearing anything related to go.com and other Disney websites.
- Most modern browsers support a “private” or “incognito” mode that may help in this situation.
- If these approaches still fail to help, you might consider contacting a travel agent with experience booking Disneyland Resort vacations. Their tools and resources may help overcome these issues.
I hope that offers a few ideas about how you can resolve this difficulty. I’m wishing on a star that you find a way to get the hotel booking of your dreams at the Disneyland Resort. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us at planDisney again.
I’m sending pixie dust and happy thoughts your way, Silvia!
