Trying to book a vacation for about 14 people, is this possible?

Hi there Liana, welcome to planDisney!  How exciting that you're looking to plan a trip for a large group of Mouseketeers!

It is totally possible to plan a vacation to the Disneyland Resort for a large group, even a group of 14!  With the right planning, you can have a very magical trip.  The first thing I suggest is to explore the Disneyland Hotel Vacation Packages as well as the Disney-approved Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Packages.  It is so convenient to bundle your theme park tickets and hotel stay together, and with a group that large, you could even explore some of the suite options at the hotels if that is a good fit for your family!  Even though most hotels cannot guarantee that your rooms would be next to each other, it never hurts to ask if you can be as close together as possible, and usually they will make best efforts to accommodate.

Once you have your theme park tickets, I recommend linking them all together in the Disneyland app.  To do this, navigate to the three horizontal bar line in the bottom right-hand corner of the app, and tap "My Tickets & Passes."  Then tap "Link Tickets & Passes," and you can either scan the ticket barcodes or type in the ticket numbers manually.  By linking your tickets, you can make plans together such as purchasing Disney Genie+ Service and booking Lightning Lane selections together for your favorite attractions!

You can also make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance.  14 people is a large group, so you may want to consider trying to make reservations for a few smaller groups, and at or around the same time.  The group can also meet up for a quick service meal, which is a great option with a group that size.  There are so many wonderful quick service dining locations throughout both parks.

I also recommend taking advantage of the wonderful Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout the Disneyland Resort so everyone can be in the photos together!  Some of our favorite places to get a family photo are in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle or Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, or in Cars Land or Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park.

Whether you decide to tour the parks together, or just meet up for some of your favorite attractions or Disney snacks, I'm wishing you and your family a wonderful trip full of memories, Liana!  If I can help with any other planning tips, please come back and ask, you've got a friend in me!

    Have a magical day!
