I am trying to book a trip under a wedding block but am wanting to stay a week on property and it won't let me reserve under the group rate that many days before the wedding. Is there a way to make a separate reservation for the first two nights?

Hi there, Haley! Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you received a most magical invitation, and you must be so excited to see an actual Fairytale Wedding in person! Dreams really do come true at Walt Disney World Resort.

When a couple secures a room block through Disney Weddings & Honeymoons, they will set it up at several Walt Disney World Resort hotels for about ten days. This way, their guests can enjoy their vacation before or after the ceremony. Anything outside that time frame will be a separate reservation without their rates. If you wish to book a resort room independent of the room block, you may do so through the Walt Disney World reservation line at (407) 939-5277. However, before doing so, I encourage you to reach out to the Wedding Planning Team at (321) 939-4610. They can look up the room block and provide some suggestions. Also, stay tuned to the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website. Historically, Holiday Rates will come out at the end of the current Summer Rates. Often, you can find discounted resort stays at select Disney Resort hotels.

While you don't need a ticket to attend the ceremony, as a Fairytale Wedding guest, you are entitled to a slight discount on Park Hopper tickets. If you plan to visit the theme parks, don't forget to make your Disney Park Pass Reservations. I'm also happy to provide any additional advice on how to add Disney Genie+ Service or dining reservations to your park days.

I hope you make some magical memories during your trip, Haley!
