Hey there, hi there, Sara! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I am so glad you've stopped by with your question.
In just days, you'll be arriving at
The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your most magical adventure. How exciting! However, it is definitely less than exciting and magical to hear that some Theme Park Reservations are unavailable for your dates. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." I have some tips for you to make sure you still have the most magical and memorable Disney days!
After checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, I do also see that
Theme Park Reservations are unavailable for Magic Kingdom Park on April 4th, 5th and 6th. And while that is definitely a bummer, don't count yourself out of the Kingdom yet! I also see that at this time, both Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and EPCOT
do have availability on those dates. Since you already want to visit Animal Kingdom, go ahead and book Reservations for Animal Kingdom (and EPCOT if you'd like) to lock down some guaranteed magical theme park visits.
Then, keep checking for Theme Park Reservation availability at Magic Kingdom up until the day you plan to visit the parks. Guests' plans change all the time, so you never know what pixie dust you will find. Several of my friends have had success snagging last-minute Theme Park Reservations! The easiest way to do this is to log in to your
My Disney Experience account, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab, click "Theme Park Reservations," click the blue "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations" button, scroll to the reservation you would like to modify, click the "Modify Reservation" link and see if Magic Kingdom Park is available. If it is, modify your reservation and let the magic begin!
If you still can't find Theme Park Reservation availability for Magic Kingdom, I recommend upgrading your
theme park tickets to add the Park Hopper Option. The Park Hopper allows you to visit more than one theme park per day, so after visiting the theme park for which you have a reservation, you will be able to hop to Magic Kingdom Park (or any theme park) at 2:00 p.m. or later. It's the best way to maximize your magic!
I do have some great news! Theme Park Reservations are
not required to visit the water parks, so if you've purchased or added admission to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park to your ticket, you can have a splashin' good time at Typhoon Lagoon on any day of your vacation. I hope you have the BEST. DAY. EVER!
I hope this was helpful, Sara, and I hope you have the most magical upcoming adventure! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
