Hiya, Kray!
Welcome to planDisney! A split stay at the Swan Reserve and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge sounds like a fabulous trip. My most recent stay was at
Animal Kingdom Lodge, and it is beyond amazing. The stunning savanna views and
outstanding dining options are two of the best reasons to choose this resort. I highly recommend the bread service at Sanaa!
I am so sorry to hear that you are not finding the accommodations you were hoping for at
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve on the Walt Disney World website. The rooms that you are seeing are the available options for a Walt Disney World vacation package. I do see a variety of standard rooms available on the Swan Reserve's official website. Because you are booking a split stay you can go about reserving these room options in a couple of different ways.
The first option would be to book both stays separately on their individual websites. The pro for this option is it is super convenient, with no need to experience any hold times. The con would be the process for purchasing tickets is an additional step. When booking a Walt Disney World vacation package online, you can only buy tickets for the length of your stay. In this case that would be four days of tickets for Animal Kingdom Lodge and separate tickets for Swan Reserve. What I would suggest doing booking the split stay online is to book room-only reservations at each hotel, and then
buy your tickets separately through the Walt Disney World website. This way you can purchase tickets for the length of your stay, which will reduce their daily price per day. I know this may seem like a lot of steps, but it takes just a few minutes. When you are finished it's easy to
link all of your travel confirmations in
My Disney Experience. This is a great source for keeping your itinerary easily accessible throughout your entire trip.
Another option for booking your upcoming adventure is to speak to a friendly Cast Member with
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. This is a great choice if you prefer to have an individual assist you during the booking process, especially if you have never done a split stay. You can ask customized questions as you go which can be very helpful when looking for specific accommodations.
I hope that your upcoming trip is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
