    I am trying to book restaurant I feel that my My Experience App is not working effectively and therefore missing out on bookings would I be better contacting the Reservation Number? and would there be better availability this way?

    Welcome to planDisney!  I love to chat about dining at the Walt Disney World Resort!  Thank you for sharing your question with us!

    As Mickey and his pals continue welcoming guests “Returning to a World of Magic,” things may look a bit different at this time!  Due to maintaining proper physical distancing, it may be more challenging to obtain certain advanced dining reservations at this time.  I recently spoke with a Cast Member and was reassured that the My Disney Experience mobile app is updated in real-time when availability pops up.  I have struggled to find reservations on my last two visits to “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” and I have a suggestion.  You can call and speak with a Cast Member in dining in hopes to score your advanced dining reservation or check different time slots on your My Disney Experience.  I successfully obtained my advanced dining reservations for my last couple of visits by clicking on other time options instead of breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  If you decide to speak with a Cast Member from the Walt Disney World Resort, I have placed a link in the text above. 
     
    Your vacation is “Just Around the Riverbend,” and with all the festivities for the 50th anniversary, I recommend checking “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and the Disney Parks Blog websites.  These two websites keep guests informed of all the announcements for this once-in-a-lifetime 18-month event!
