When trying to book a reservation to make a droid, it says that they need a credit card to book the reservation. How do I link my credit card?

Bright suns, Cat, and welcome to planDisney!

Your journey to a galaxy far, far away is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! So many adventures await in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, starting with building your very own custom astromech droid unit at Droid Depot. In order to book your reservation for this experience, you will need a credit card to guarantee it. Here’s how it works: From the Droid Depot page on Disneyland.com, select “Check Availability.” First, you’ll select your date range. Then, select the number of builders. Next, you’ll select the time of day you’d like to schedule your build. Now, press “Continue” to complete your reservation. You’ll need to sign into your Disney account before you can complete the reservation. At Checkout, you’ll enter the name of the Guest who will be participating in the build. Select “Next,” and then enter your contact information and credit card information to complete the reservation. After this step, your reservation will be complete, and you’ll be all set for your special day in Black Spire Outpost!

Keep in mind that your credit card is being used to guarantee your reservation, and it will only be charged if you don’t arrive as scheduled. If your plans change, to avoid being charged as a “no-show,” you’ll want to cancel your reservation at least one day prior to your visit. If you fail to cancel at least one day ahead, your credit card will be charged the current building cost per builder.

Building a droid is such a fun experience! I had the chance to build one with my son a few years ago, and he still talks about it! I also recommend downloading the Play Disney Parks app, so you can become fully immersed in the Galaxy’s Edge experience. My son and I had a blast on a mission in the Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction queue!

May the Force be with you, Cat!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
