I am trying to book a reservation in 2022 but It doesnt allow me to go past December 2021

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to planDisney you go, Jorge!

I’d love to help you start planning ahead for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! It looks like your arrival date is in 2023, so I believe you may be hoping to book for August of 2023, but the system isn’t letting you see past December of 2022. Currently, Vacation Packages and Disneyland Resort Hotel reservations are only available through December of 2022, so that’s why you’re not able to see past that date in the online reservation system. Reservations for the following year tend to open up by the end of summer, typically by the end of August. So, I recommend checking Disneyland.com in August, or heading back to planDisney in July or August to see if we have any updates to pass along.

In the meantime, you can start thinking about where you’d like to stay! In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels! I love the luxury and convenience of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – it even offers an exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure Park, making for a perfect naptime break or pool break on a hot day. My children adore the Disneyland Hotel thanks to the awesome monorail waterslides and pools. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel also offers beautiful views of Disney California Adventure Park, especially at night!

You can start booking dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your arrival, too. There are so many unique options to choose from, so I recommend checking out the menus online ahead of time. Character Dining is always a fun option, too! I love the breakfast at Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park

Last but not least, as you start planning your Disneyland Resort getaway, I recommend following @plandisneypanel on Instagram for all the latest tips. If you have any other questions as your trip gets closer, please return to planDisney… we’re all EARs!

    Happy planning,

As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
