Hi there, Brittany. Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Are you ready for your Walt Disney World vacation? It's only a few more weeks away, you've got to be getting so excited!
Brittany,
park hopping is a type of Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket that allows you to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. Basically, you have two options for theme park tickets.
- A standard theme park ticket - allows entry into one Walt Disney World Theme Park per day
- a standard theme park ticket with the park hopper option - allows entry into multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks per day
Park hopping is actually my favorite way to spend a Disney day. Here's how park hopping is currently working:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
- Guests wishing to park hop must have park pass reservations for the initial theme park they'd like to visit each day
- On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other theme parks later in the day
- Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each pack closes in the evening
With the park hopper plus ticket, you get the ability to park hop (explained above) plus the same number of days to visit and enjoy Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, one round of golf at Disney's Oak Trail, entry into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and one mini-golf visit per day at Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course and at Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course.
It is not possible to only upgrade your Walt Disney World vacation package to include the park hopper plus feature for one day of your vacation. It is sort of an all-or-nothing policy when it comes to things like that. To enjoy this option, you would need to upgrade your entire vacation package.
I hope this helps, Brittany! If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
