Hi Whitney! Traveling with an infant can take extra planning so it is good you are getting all your questions answered now so there will be no surprises.
I just returned from a Disney vacation with our 7 month old granddaughter. It was so much fun to see her first meet and greets to Disney characters and to watch her amazement at all the new magical stimuli in the parks. We were able to enjoy many of the attractions that did not have height restrictions but you need to carry your infants on the rides. Many don't allow the body carriers if they will interfere with the lap bars. Simply ask the cast member stationed at the entrance if there are special requirements concerning infants.
We had no issue with the attractions that included boarding boats such as Its A Small World, Pirates, and Jungle Cruise. The theater type shows were also easy. Check out all the different things you can plan to do with
Young Children. And don't forget to check out the wonderful Disney
Baby Care Centers. These are fully equipped spots in all four parks where you can find quiet to meet your infants every needs.
Traveling with an infant is not hard as long as you are prepared and willing to go at their speed. You will make wonderful new memories!
