Hey there, hi there, Jennifer! What an awesome graduation gift - I wish I'd thought of that for my girls!
Walt Disney World requires a minimum age of 18 to book a room, so your daughter won't have any problems checking in at any of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. I definitely recommend that you book the room in her name, and make sure she has a credit card in her name that she can use at check-in.
Don't forget, Jennifer, if the kids want to visit the
theme parks, they'll need
theme park reservations for the days they want to go. You want to make them as far in advance as you can to make sure they get the parks they want on the days they want. Also, if you haven't used it yet, check out the new
Disney Genie Service. It's a great way to help plan your perfect Disney Day.
Remind them that they're not too old for a
character meal (what awesome photos they'll have to remember the trip!), but if they want to make any
dining reservations, they can do that 60 days in advance. There are some pretty great additions to the list of Disney dining experiences, including
Space 220 Restaurant at EPCOT. It's virtually an out-of-this-world experience.
I hope your daughter and her friend have the very best graduation trip. Congratulations to her on her graduation, and I hope her future is sprinkled with pixie dust and filled with magical moments that become her favorite memories!
