Hi Kimberly, welcome to planDisney!
Guests are seeing the return of all sorts of Walt Disney World Resort offerings this summer.
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is officially back and serving up family fun along with fresh-baked cornbread at Pioneer Hall at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. My son was three years old the last time we saw the Pioneer Hall Players perform and he still remembers getting permission to use his spoon as a percussion instrument. I still remember the look in my daughter's eyes when the dessert course was presented. Two words: strawberry shortcake.
Advance dining reservations, which include the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, can be made
online 60 days in advance plus the length of stay for Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. All other Guests may make reservations no more than 60 days in advance. The start of your August vacation has already hit the 60-day mark, Kimberly, but you'll have to wait a couple more days if you'd like to make Hoop-Dee-Doo reservations for the end of your stay.
Reservations for this popular dining experience are filling up fast. I recommend being logged in to your My Disney Experience account with the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue webpage open by 5:40 a.m. the morning of your 60-day mark. Click "Check Availability" and start refreshing the page at 5:45 a.m. until your date appears for selection. In my experience, reservations typically go live by 6:01 a.m. Advance payment is required for this experience and there are three showtimes to choose from: 4:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
My friends and I will be following these same steps in a few days when we try to secure reservations for our September trip. The magic and strawberry shortcake are calling!
Plan magic; planDisney.
