I am trying to book for my family, however my youngest will be 9 months at the time of cruising. I don’t know a exact due date, name or gender for booking what are my options for this

    Welcome, Terry!

How exciting to be expecting a little one, and to be planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation together! I’m happy to help you understand how to book this special trip with the information you have about your family for now.

First, please be certain that your future plans account for the required minimum age onboard. Most itineraries require that every passenger is at least 6-months old at the time of sailing, so your future 9-month-old may be just right. When Hawaiian, Transatlantic, and Panama Canal itineraries are offered, passengers must be at least 1-year old for those sailings. Cruises are offered throughout the year, so I hope there is one at the right time that aligns to the right age for your new baby as well as a great adventure for your whole family.

To make your family’s reservation now, a Disney Cruise Line Crew Member advised that you should select the correct number of people for each stateroom to ensure there is space onboard. You can enter their name as TBD for now and should be able to bypass the birth date and gender fields. Once your little one has safely arrived and you’re ready to add the infant to your itinerary, you can call Disney Cruise Line and they will finalize the details on your reservation for you.

Be sure to sign up for “it’s a small world” nursery when the time comes to book activities, Terry. This will entrust your baby in the care of a very special team so that you can enjoy some adult-exclusive dining or just relax in the sun! This incredible service in beautiful, comforting spaces is available on every ship in the Disney fleet.

Please bring any other questions you have as you put together your special plans; we’d love to help you make the most of this special sailing.

    Happy planning!
