Hi Diamond!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready for an incredible trip with your little one. Be sure to pick up complimentary First Visit celebration buttons from any theme park Guest Relations location or Disney Resort hotel front desk so Cast Members can help ensure you have a magical vacation! I have traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with both of my boys when they were each that age and we made incredible memories. I recommend that you consider adding
Memory Maker to your trip so you can capture all of the magical memories you make together.
Your little prince's age for your trip is based on his age at the start of your vacation. So if he will be 3 years old when you start your trip, you will need to
purchase a child theme park ticket for him. If he will be 2 years old at the start of your trip, but has a birthday during your vacation, then he will be considered 2 years old for the duration of your vacation and will not need a ticket. So since it sounds like he will be celebrating his third birthday before your vacation, then he will need a theme park ticket for your holiday vacation!
Since you will be
visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the Christmas season, be sure to take note of the beautiful holiday decorations in the Disney Resort hotels. The Christmas trees in each of the Disney Resort hotel lobbies are decorated to match the unique theming in each hotel and are so beautiful!
Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue
planning your trip with your little one. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
