Hello Robin!
One of my favorite visits to the Walt Disney World Resort was spent at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! With affordability, a great location near Magic Kingdom Park, easy water transportation to Magic Kingdom Park, and excellent dining options such as
Trail’s End Restaurant and the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (a must-do!)…What’s not to love!?
I’m sorry that you’re having trouble booking a reservation. Let me be your guide through the process. It’s possible that campsites might not be available during the time that you are entering for your preferred travel. If campsites are not available during your preferred travel time you will see a message stating, “This room type is unavailable for the dates, party size or offer selected.” If that is the case, you might want to search for a time when there is more availability.
Let me briefly walk you through the reservation process. Once you arrive at the
Walt Disney World Resort website, you will want to hover over the “Places to Stay” heading. When the dropdown menu appears, select “Campgrounds.” A page should appear prompting you to enter the check-in and check-out dates of your visit. You will also be prompted to enter the size of your travel party (with ages for children). You will then click “Check Availability.” If there is availability during your preferred travel time, you should see “The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort” appear with an average nightly rate. Click on the blue arrow next to the rate and you should see a variety of options from tent and pop-up campsites all the way to sites for RVs.
Robin, if you’re still having trouble booking your reservation, you can contact a friendly Cast Member at (407)-939-5277. They will be able to provide you with assistance in finding a campsite!
