    Hello! I am trying to book a dinner reservation at Mama Melrose for January 2022. Is there a reason it says “Not Available” with an exclamation point?

    Hello Jaclyn, 

    Welcome to planDisney, we're so happy that you've taken the time to stop by with such a great question for us to help you with today.

    My family and I just love dining at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, where it can be said that Italy meets California in the heart of the Backlot of Disney's Hollywood Studios! 

    Jaclyn, I'm happy to share that it's my own experience that Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano can be very popular with lots of families visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Therefore this popularity may indeed account for you not being unable thus far, to make any Advanced Dining Reservations for January 2022.  

    It might be helpful for you to know that I took a little peek at the current availability for Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, and I was able to see available dining times during the month of January.  However, please do bear in mind that all restaurant reservation times are always subject to change at Walt Disney World Resort.

    As Guests do change their plans all the time, my best suggestion would be for you to keep trying to secure an Advanced Dining Reservation for Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano.  After all, you never just know when a little Disney magic is going to happen and a spot will open up just for YOU!

    Additionally, you may wish to try Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability via your My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded onto your smart device.  Guests using Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability can easily check for any current, on-the-day availability at select restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort.  Plus, once a reservation is secured the App will even let diners know when their table is ready!

    And lastly, I believe that the exclamation mark (!) may have simply been used to add emphasis to the statement.  For instance, "Mamma mia!"
