Trying to Book a dinner reservation at Chef Mickeys. The only time avail is after 8pm. Could we just go to the resturant and wait in line like at 6pm? How hard is it to get seated without reservations? thanks! You Guys are great!

Cynthia you may go to the restaurant and wait stand by but I do not recommend this method.

Chef Mickey's is a very popular restaurant and you are highly unlikely to be able to get a table at dinner time if you just show up without waiting quite a while. You  could make an 8:00 pm reservation and show up an hour or so early but also be prepared to wait quite a while. Cancellations must be made at this restaurant a day in advance so try calling one or two days ahead to see if there is a last minute opening at a better time. The bottom line is if you want to dine with Mickey and Minnie grab the best available reservation. I love Chef Mickey's so I think you should take the 8:00 pm reservation. You may get lucky and end up with a better time closer to your dining date. The worse case scenario is you get to enjoy a late afternoon snack! My choice would be Mickey ice cream.

    Enjoy your magical vacation!
