Hi Abigail,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your holiday begins so soon, have you started the countdown yet?
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will re-open August 25th at Magic Kingdom Park! This is such a popular experience, so keep in mind that there could be limited availability upon your arrival to the Walt Disney World Resort. I suggest building in a little flexibility on your day(s) in Magic Kingdom Park and check for availability often in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (search for "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom") once you're on Disney property. This way, if any last minute availability comes up, you might be able to catch it.
Remember that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a magical experience for your children to have a full make-over (some packages include a costume). However, with this experience, you aren’t able to meet any of the princesses. There are a number of ways to do princess meet and greets for a picture and autograph. One option is meeting
Princess Tiana and others at
Princess Fairytale Hall! With this attraction, you can either join the stand-by queue or add the experience through Disney Genie+, if you’ve purchased it for the day. I would suggest using the stand-by option because the wait times fluctuate throughout the day, you may catch it at a great time! Also keep in mind
Merida is back meeting and greeting as well!
Character dining is another great way to meet the princesses,
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is the perfect example. Check out the character dining options and see what might fit into your schedule, keep in mind some of the dining experiences might have
walk-up availability.
Finally, another easy way to see the princesses is during the Magic Kingdom entertainment options. For example, during
Festival of Fantasy, your family wouldn’t be able to get autographs, but you’d be able to see a number of the princesses including Tiana, Anna, Elsa, and Belle. Just pick a spot on the parade route (you can ask a Cast Member or check out the map in the Park) and be prepared to wave at the princesses! You can also watch
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire in front of
Cinderella Castle to see a few princess friends as well as Mickey and Minnie.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you put the final touches on your holiday plans. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
