Ahoy Alyssa, and welcome to planDisney! You and your granddaughter will make some core memories of taking a Disney Cruise Line vacation together. This magical vacation has so much to offer to
people of all ages.
On closed-loop sailings, meaning the cruise begins and ends at the same U.S. port, your granddaughter will need
the original or copy of her state-issued birth certificate. One additional form that will need to be completed either during Online Check-in or brought to the port with you is the "
Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian" if her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) will not be traveling with you all.
Since she is under 18, she will be able to get off the ship and visit all the ports with her
Key to the World card, issued once you check in at the port on embarkation day. As an adult, you will need both your Key to the World card and your government-issued photo I.D. to get on and off the ship.
While you are making your final decision on which Disney Cruise Line itinerary to book, check out the available
special offers. Currently, there is an offer of
50% off the required deposit on select sailings if you book by February 16, 2024. This webpage is always being updated when new offers are available, so even if you miss this one, keep checking back.
I know you will find just the right itinerary for you and your granddaughter. If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney and we will help.
Adventure is out there!
