    I've been trying to book an ADR at The Plaza Restaurant in MK for March 2, 2014 and I can't seem to get any availability. If I check random dates in Jan, Feb, and later in March, there's availability. Any idea why I can't book for March 2nd? Thanks!!!

    Hi there, Tracy!

    I absolutely love The Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park! It's such a hidden gem and it's a must-do for my family on each trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! One thing about this location is that it is small, so there are a limited number of Advanced Dining Reservations available.

    I just spoke with a Cast Member at Disney Dining to inquire about the date you are looking for and was informed that the restaurant will be closed for refurbishment from February 16th through March 16, 2014. I'm so sorry to be the bearer of that unfortunate news.

    If your family is a fan of Italian food, might I suggest Tony's Town Square Restaurant on Main Street U.S.A.? We love the atmosphere there and the food is delicious! If you're more inclined to have a Character Meal instead, try The Crystal Palace at the end of Main Street U.S.A. where you can dine with Winnie the Pooh and his friends!
