Ahoy there, Laurel! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so excited that you'll be embarking on a Disney Cruise Line vacation in just a few months!
If you ask me, booking activities is the third most exciting part of a Disney Cruise Line vacation. We'll see if we have time to talk about numbers one and two later, but right now we've got a mystery to solve, so in the immortal words of Darkwing Duck: Let's Get Dangerous!
Jokes aside, I'm sorry you're having trouble booking your activities - that's definitely something that can take the wind out of your sails! Whenever I have issues of this nature, my first step is to log out of the website on any devices I've even looked at a Disney Cruise Line information on! Next, if you have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded, I'd log out of that as well! Then close all of your browser windows, tabs, and anything else that may be holding a session open - if you're anything like me, the number of open tabs in your browser can be a little insane...but hey, how else am I supposed to
compare the three different sail dates for my next cruise, all the flights for each and checking my family's calendar...
Once you're done getting back to zero browser windows, next, log back into the website or the app and click over to the "
Book/Manage Cruise Activities" section. If everything is cleared out correctly, you should be able to book your activities!
If you still are encountering the same issue, I'd suggest having anyone whom you'll be traveling with repeat the same log-out steps above. It's possible there's a single browser window open that could be triggering this error!
While it's a great thing to be traveling with a group - especially when you can book up to four staterooms on a single reservation - this could be one of those tiny details that put a magnet next to your compass, so to speak!
If after all that you are unable to make plans, my last suggestion is to do a "hard refresh" on your browser - this can be done by holding the control (or command) key and pressing F5.
Aside from all of that, if your map is still not leading you to your treasure,
I'd reach out to the Disney Cruise Line crew members by phone or
email. While hold times have been long on the phone, they'll be the best equipped to handle your issue - better yet - call them first, and see if you can fix the issue while on hold! That's a planDrew-approved way of making the most of your time!
I hope that helps you get back on course, Laurel, and again I'm sorry you're dealing with this issue. With a little faith, trust, pixie dust, and a little magic, you'll be booking activities with the best of them, and getting ready to check this step off your pre-cruise checklist! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue to plan, please drop me another line here at plan Disney!
Fair winds, following seas (and short hold times!)
