Ahoy there, Jason, and welcome aboard planDisney!
I imagine you arrrrr so excited to
celebrate your young sailors’ big day at the Happiest Place on Earth. If you haven't done so already, be sure every member of your crew has valid tickets and
theme park reservations for the day of your visit.
During
the initial reopening period, some attractions and dining experiences will be unavailable. Unfortunately,
Blue Bayou Restaurant will not open with the rest of
Disneyland Park, which is why you were unable to secure reservations here for the celebration. Check out a
list of locations that will be available during your trip by clicking here. I encourage you to watch the
Dining: Know Before You Go page for updates as the reopening protocols evolve and more experiences return.
In the meantime, if you're looking for table service dining in Disneyland Park, both
Cafe Orleans and
River Belle Terrace are currently accepting reservations and will be serving Guests upon reopening. You might even be able to
add a Mickey Mouse celebration cake to your reservation. If you haven’t had one before they are delicious. Just thinking about the mousse filling makes my tummy rumbly!
To minimize contact, make sure you have the latest version of the
Disneyland Mobile App handy to check-in virtually for all dining experiences, and if you prefer to be more spontaneous during your visit, consider using
Mobile Dine Walk-Up for same-day reservations.
I hope this is helpful, Jason. I'll keep my fingers and hooks crossed that Blue Bayou Restaurant sails back into operation soon. Best wishes for smooth waters as you return to a land of magic, and a very merry birthday to your girls!
