Hi there, Holly. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Isn't it great that children under the age of 3 are considered free when visiting Walt Disney World? I like to think of it as a gift from Mickey Mouse himself. Because your baby doesn't need a ticket, there's nothing to make her a
FastPass+ selection with. If the attraction is age and height appropriate, you'll be able to just carry her on any attraction that you have FastPass+ selections for. If the attraction is not appropriate for your littlest one, you can always take advantage of the
rider switch service. With this service, one adult can wait with the non rider, like your baby, while everyone else enjoys the attraction. Once they are finished, the person who waited and 2 other Guests are allowed to ride with no waiting! It's a great system that I used to use a lot when my daughter was smaller. Also, during the day you'll want to check out the
Baby Care Centers located at each park. These areas are a great reprieve from the Florida sun, especially with younger children. These areas are equipped with:
- Private nursing room with rocking chair
- Changing room with tables and a unisex bathroom
- Feeding area with highchairs
- Kitchen with microwave, oven and sink
- Main room with television, table, chairs and sofa
- On-site shop offering formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen over-the-counter medications and clothing for purchase
I hope this helps you! If you have any other questions about your vacation, I'd love for you to come back and ask me.
