Hello there, Lucy!
As Princess Tiana says, your vacation is almost there! I’m so glad you’ve come to planDisney to help sort out your
advanced dining reservations. I always like to have at least one or two dining reservations for each day of my Walt Disney World Resort vacation to take some time to sit down, get out of the sun in the afternoon and laugh about all of our morning adventures.
Pending that reservations are available, there are a few different ways you can book a reservation at these restaurants. First, from the
“Reservations Accepted” page, ensure you “Clear All Filters” under Search Times. You might have a filter hiding those dining options from your view. From there, you can filter down your options by selecting “All Walt Disney World Locations” and choosing “Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort” or “Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park,” respectively. You should see these restaurants appear as options.
Alternatively, you can go directly to the
‘Ohana and
Tusker House Restaurant websites to check if they have reservations available. From there, click “Check Availability,” log in to your My Disney Experience account, and enter your reservation details to find an available time.
Finally, I prefer to book dining reservations through the
My Disney Experience app on my mobile device. Once the app is open, press the plus sign at the bottom, select “Check Dining Availability,” enter your party size, date, and preferred time, and scroll through the available options.
Here’s a pro tip: I like to scroll up a bit until I see a filter button appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. This button allows you to focus on dining in specific theme parks, different cuisines, and types of dining experiences.
Let me know if you’re looking for any recommendations or a particular type of cuisine. One of my favorite activities at the Walt Disney World Resort is eating.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
