Hey there, hi there, ho there, Catherine!
You're as welcome as can be at planDisney. Your late March arrival aligns with the grand finale of Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
The Most Magical Celebration on Earth runs through March 31 and I highly recommend experiencing one or both of the nighttime spectaculars that made their debut as part of this magical milestone:
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and
Harmonious at EPCOT. Both shows run through April 2, so catch 'em while you can!
All Guests over the age of three currently require valid admission, a theme park reservation, and a method of entry (Disney band, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) for park entry. All three requirements must be linked to an individual's My Disney Experience account or account profile. These magical vacation entitlements are also housed in the
My Disney Experience mobile app for easy access during your park days.
Disney MagicMobile passes are a convenient method of entry that can be downloaded to the Apple Wallet of eligible iPhones and Apple Watches or to the digital wallet of other eligible devices. Just to be clear, the barcodes you see in the Tickets and Passes section of the My Disney Experience app cannot be added to a digital wallet and are not one of the methods of entry a Guest may scan to enter a theme park.
It sounds like you may already have a Disney MagicMobile pass in your digital wallet, Catherine. I currently have a Disney MagicMobile pass in my Apple Wallet, as well, and your question inspired me to do some hands-on research. I borrowed my husband's phone and used my account information to log into the My Disney Experience mobile app. I was able to add my Disney MagicMobile pass to his Apple Wallet without a problem (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Disney MagicMobile), which proves it can be done. That still doesn't explain your Stitch-uation, though, so let's do some troubleshooting.
My best tip for troubleshooting in the My Disney Experience mobile app is to restart the app and try again. It seems overly simple, but that's the solution that works most often for me. If you and your husband have iPhones, the next tip I'll share is that Disney MagicMobile passes can be shared through Apple iMessage. Click the "Select Passes to Share" button in the Disney MagicMobile section of the My Disney Experience mobile app, then "Share via Messages," followed by "Share Pass," and finally enter your husband's name in the "To:" field as it appears on your phone's contact list.
If you're still having trouble adding your and your husband's Disney MagicMobile passes to two digital wallets, Catherine, I recommend entering a theme park with the passes on your device. Once inside a park, stop by one of the Guest Experience Team's large blue umbrellas, where a helpful Cast Member would be glad to assist you.
I hope one of these tips does the trick. You've got a friend in planDisney and we hope to see ya' real soon!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
