I am trying to add the genie Lightning passes to tickets we already purchased for 7-11-22. How do i add the $15 option to the tickets we already purchased? My daughter is turning 4 on 7-11-22 - are there any other princess type reservations we can add?

    Hi Joseph! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! Only a couple more days until you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth! And Happy early Birthday to your little princess! My youngest just turned five this past May and I'm not sure where the time goes. Let's go over some important details to make your trip go as smoothly as possible.

Using Disney Genie+ is a great way to maximize your time at the parks and allow your family to fit more into your day. You essentially get to bypass the standby queue on the attractions you select and not have to wait in a long line. To add Disney Genie+ to your park tickets, you will need to do so on each park day. You can no longer add this service to your tickets prior to your visit. Make sure you have the My Disney Experience App downloaded to your mobile device and are logged into your account. On the day of your park visit, you can open the app and scroll down on the home screen until you find the purple bar that reads "Disney Genie+ Service". Tap on "Purchase for Today" and follow the prompts to add this to your tickets. Make sure to do so before 7 AM, since you will be able to make your first selection starting at this time. For any additional days that you want to use Disney Genie+, you need to follow this same process to purchase it each day.

As I mentioned, you can make your first Lightning Lane selection starting at 7 AM on the morning of your visit. Log on to your My Disney Experience App and select the three horizontal bars on the bottom right corner of the screen. From here, select "Tip Board" followed by selecting the park you are visiting on this day. As you scroll down, you'll see each attraction located at this park. Underneath each attraction will be the standby line approximate wait times and the Disney Genie+ next available selection times. Choose the attraction you want to make your first selection for and tap on "Book Experience". Keep in mind that you will only be able to hold one selection at a time unless your next Lightning Lane selection is more than two hours away. I suggest checking out this answer I gave to another Guest breaking down exactly how to use it!

Joseph, there will be plenty of opportunities to see and meet princesses throughout your visit. At the Magic Kingdom, Cinderella, Princess Tiana, and various other princesses are meeting Guests at Princess Fairytale Hall located behind Cinderella Castle. She'll be able to take pictures with them and most importantly, give them a big hug. You can also see many of the princesses during the Festival of Fantasy Parade being held twice daily at the Magic Kingdom. EPCOT has a few chances to meet other princesses as well. Anna and Elsa are meeting at the Royal Sommerhus in the Norway Pavilion at the World Showcase. All of these meet-and-greet opportunities do not require a reservation and can be seen by waiting in a standby queue.

Joseph, I hope you have the most magical time at Walt Disney World celebrating your daughter's birthday. Make sure to stop by the front desk of your Disney Resort or at Guest Relations in the parks to get her a birthday pin to wear for the day!

    See ya real soon!
