Hey, howdy, hey, Jessi! Welcome to
planDisney. It’s a great feeling when all the technology in your life cooperates. This doesn’t sound like that moment. Ugh! I’m sorry you're struggling to figure this out. I know how frustrating it can be when it really seems like you’re doing all the right things and it’s just not working. planDisney to the rescue! Maybe. I hope. There are a few things we can check before pulling out the stops and calling a cast member. I know, getting on the phone with a big company like Disney could also be frustrating - actually not so much. More on that later.
The first question I have for you is about the word “wallet.” If you mean that you can see your ticket in your
Disneyland Mobile App but want to add it to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the answer is simple - you can’t. You can’t add a
Disneyland ticket to either of those apps. Our friends in
Florida can, but we can’t. The inherent differences in our systems simply don’t allow it. If that’s the case, I’m so sorry we can’t accomplish what you’re hoping to do.
If by “wallet” you mean the “Tickets & Passes” section of your Disneyland Mobile App, then there are a couple of issues it could be. If you purchased your ticket from a third party, the confirmation email will, in some cases, have two numbers: a purchase number generated by the vendor, and the ticket number from Disney. If this is the case, try the other number. The other thing I’d try is scanning your barcode using your Disneyland Mobile App. From the home screen, press the (☰) in the bottom-right corner, then select “Tickets & Passes.” Press the blue (+) at the top of the screen, then select “Link Tickets & Passes.” Follow the instructions to use your mobile phone’s camera to scan the ticket.
Sometimes guests buy
hotel packages with tickets and have a reservation number that they confuse for a ticket number, but the way you’re describing having a ticket with a barcode makes me think that’s not the issue. If this is the case, you can add your hotel reservation and make a park reservation, but your ticket won’t appear in your app until a couple of days before your visit. Just putting that out there in case that is what’s going on.
If none of these suggestions have helped, it’s time to call in reinforcements. Disneyland has a
dedicated phone line for guests having issues with tickets! Call 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time Monday through Friday, or 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM PT on Saturday or Sunday, and you’ll be able to speak with a friendly cast member who will help add your ticket to your app. The wait times are not usually long, and cast members have always been able to help when I’ve called with a problem.
Jessi, I hope the technology gets in line and everything goes smoothly from here on out. I also hope you make the most magical memories on your trip! If you have any other questions, feel free to stop back by
planDisney!
Have a magical day.
Corey
