Hi Julie! Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney!
Oh boy, I’m so sorry that you’re having trouble making changes to your theme park tickets. But, I’m so glad to hear you’re adding an extra day to your plans! With so much going on at Walt Disney World Resort these days, the extra day will be so helpful in allowing you to enjoy even more of the magic during your vacation! So, I’d love to help you get that ticket changed so you can get to planning what you’ll do with your extra time!
Julie, you should be able to add this extra day right from your My Disney Experience app, so let’s start by following the steps below:
- Log into your My Disney Experience account via the Walt Disney World Resort website.
- Hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner, and click on "My Plans" from the drop-down menu.
- From there, scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section and click on "Tickets & Memory Maker."
- Once loaded, you should see a blue link to "Change Ticket." Click on that, and select the tickets you would like to modify.
- Then, you can edit the number of days to add the 4th day and follow the prompts check out.
While that should do the trick, as we all know, technology can be a fickle friend at times. So, if you’re still getting the error message you mentioned, your best bet would be to give the My Disney Experience and MagicBands team a call to troubleshoot the issue. Once resolved, you can follow the steps above to get this finalized.
Once you have your tickets extended, don’t forget to log back in to make your Park Pass Reservation for whatever park you plan to visit first on your extra day.
I am just so excited for you to visit Walt Disney World. You've got such an incredible adventure ahead of you, especially since you will be visiting during The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Of course, with so much going on, you're bound to have some questions as you continue planning your vacation, so please visit us again soon if there is anything else we can help you with!
Until next time,
Diana
