Hi there, Coddaya! Welcome to planDisney!
You'll be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort at a wonderful time of year! I love early November when the temperatures are a little cooler and there's a whisper of the holidays in the air. You're sure to find magic waiting for you around every corner, especially with
The World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing! Be sure to take some time to check out the
Beacons of Magic in each of the parks, and you may even want to end your nights with a few
celebratory sweets.
It sounds like you're looking to add some cards to your
My Disney Experience account! I love using
Disney Gift Cards on my trips, too, and I find them to be a really convenient way to pay for my meals or pick up a few souvenirs. However, at this time, Guests aren't able to add a Disney Gift Card as a saved method of payment to a My Disney Experience account. But Hakuna Matata! No worries! You're still able to use your Disney Gift Card eGift when making a payment through your
My Disney Experience app. You can use this app to
mobile order food, purchase
Individual Lightning Lane entrances, and more! To do this, you'll scroll down to the bottom of your payment screen when making a purchase and tap "Use a Different Payment Method." Then, you can tap "Add a Card" and type in the number associated with your Disney Gift Card eGift. In fact, to make things even easier, I like to keep a note in my phone with my Disney Gift Card number typed in. When making a payment, I just copy and paste this number into the payment screen. Ta-da!
You could also transfer the funds from this digital eGift card to a physical Disney Gift Card if you have a spare one handy. All you need to do is head to the
Disney Gift Card website, add your eGift card and your physical gift card to My Cards, then transfer your funds!
While you're putting the finishing touches on your magical vacation, be sure that you've also made your Theme Park Reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system. This is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip! And take a little time to download and explore everything that the My Disney Experience app has to offer prior to your arrival, too. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order meals and snacks!
If I misunderstood your question, or if you have any problems with the above steps, my next best piece of advice would be to
reach out to one of the wonderful Cast Members. A little like real-life fairy godparents, they always try to stretch their magic wands as far as they can reach for their Guests! They'll be able to help you with your Disney Gift Card eGift and what options are available to you.
I hope I was able to help you with your question today, Coddaya! If anything else pops up, please visit us again. After all - you've got a friend in me!
To infinity and beyond!
