Tryin to decide where to stay w/ kids 1,6,9. Stayed at CBR last time and loved it. Can we reserve a specific room #? Loved the location last time. Thought about trying AOA. What do u think about resort location, rooms, over all feel? Other resort to try?

    Hi, Kris!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a fantastic place to hang your hat while touring all of the magic that is Walt Disney World; no wonder you loved it! Should you wish to experience a similar location, you can make a request when speaking with a Cast Member about your upcoming booking. For example, if you stayed near Fuentes del Morro Feature Pool, and are hoping to repeat the magic, the CM assisting you will be happy to record your room location request. Of course, none of this can be guaranteed, but CMs will make every effort to accommodate your request if it can be done.

Friends of ours just returned from a stay at Disney's Art of Animation and loved it, too! The theming of the entire resort is over-the-top, with great features that you just won't find in other Value Resorts at this time. (The food court there, Landscape of Flavor, is still one of my favorite Quick Service restaurants in a resort of any kind.) If booking there, be sure to book a Family Suite, which will provide you with a mini-kitchen as well as two bathrooms (a must for us!) Stay in the Finding Nemo section, and your little ones will be amazed when they jump into The Big Blue Pool...they'll hear sounds from the now-classic film under water! So cool!

My son and I loved our recent stay at Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside Resort, which can accommodate a family of 5 in a Preferred Room. These rooms, located in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort (shout out to Cast Member Amy for providing that tidbit!) feature 2 Queen beds and a pull down bunk, too. This was a lovely resort, with majestic architecture, great food and a fantastic feature pool. You might love this one, too!

Send more questions as you contemplate your stay, Kris; I'd love to help you pick the one that's just right for your family!
