I want to try the Whispering Canyon Cafe. However, we only have time for lunch ADR & from reviews I've read it seems there aren't as many "antics" at lunch. My DD & I really like antics & it's the main reason we'd go !! Any thought

If you've got your heart set on lots of shenanigans in the Whispering Canyon Cafe dining room, Christy, I would suggest a dinner reservation for sure.  Lunch (and even the earliest dinners) are much more subdued.  There are other options for unique lunch experiences, though.  The first restaurant to come to mind is the 50's Prime Time Cafe.  Mileage can vary by server, of course, but even during lunch hours we've had good luck in getting servers who really get into their roles.  The other restaurant I can think of, too, is located at Hollywood Studios.  The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater doesn't offer a lot of antics, per se, but the experience is certainly unique.  You dine while seated in "parked cars".  Old sci-fi movie clips play on a huge screen in front of your car.  It's a lot of fun!  Hopefully one of those will fill your need for a fun lunch place.
