When I try and share Mickey Mouse Xmas tickets with family members via iMessage the text won’t go through and just says “pending”. Please advise. Thanks

Welcome to planDisney, Kelly! I am so glad you stopped by as you plan a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year. I am usually drawn to the sweet scents wafting from the Main Street Confectionery, but at Christmas, the Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookies call my name.

It sounds like you bought tickets for your family to enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and now you need to add these treats to their stockings. There are a few ways to easily assign party tickets to your family members.

The first step is to make sure everyone appears in your Family & Friends List. If you need to add someone, select "+ Add a Guest" and follow the prompts to connect to their MyDisney account or create an account.

Once everyone is connected to you, you can assign the tickets to your family members through the Walt Disney World Resort website or the My Disney Experience app.

Online, go to "My Plans" and scroll to "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." You should see each of your tickets listed. If the tickets can be reassigned, you will see a drop-down box on the right side of the screen labeled "Reassign Ticket." Select your family member from the list and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! The tickets will appear in their accounts.

You can also do this on the app by opening the main menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen) and selecting the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. You can scroll through the tickets in your account and use the "Reassign Ticket" button to transfer them to a family member.

Once each person has the tickets in their account, they should be able to see them in their My Disney Experience app. They can use Disney MagicMobile to access their tickets on their cell phones. If they have a MagicBand, MagicBand+ or physical card from a previous visit that is still linked to their account, they can use these, too, to scan at the gates.

There's no place like Walt Disney World for the holidays! I keep checking Disney Parks Blog for updates on all the seasonal treats, including the resort gingerbread houses and Foodie Guides. Oh, it won't be long before sugar plums dance in my head! Yours, too, I hope.

If you have any other questions, please come back by planDisney. We're here to help make your trip merry and bright!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!
