Would like to try pin trading w/ daughters(3 & 6)on our next trip. What's the price range for a starter set w/ lanyard & pins? We're on a budget but want to experience all the magic we can! Love reading your tips. I'm addicted to all things Disney

I am so glad that my kids got into pin trading about three years ago.  Not only is it a great activity to do in the parks, but they also serve as meaningful souvenirs that will last forever!

As for starting a collection for your daughters, the sets that are sold in the parks range from around $25 for a lanyard and four pins to about $45 for a lanyard and eight pins.  Of course those prices are estimates of what you'll find as of Sept. 2008 and they many change by the time you visit.  One way to save money on your first pin purchase is to buy them from an online discount retailer.  I've had good luck with one in particular.  If you google the term "mouse pins online" the results should yield a discount pin trading web site.  We've never been disappointed in the pins we've received from them.

    Happy trading!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
