2nd try - locked out last time. Night in Oct is sweater enough? Thanks for your help so far - more ?? - is flashlight handy for leaving fireworks for bus? How long is it (distance & time) from Fantasmic ending to get out and to the bus?

    Hi there Mary,

So sorry to hear that had trouble posting your question!  This one made it through and I am happy to assist!

October is actually the perfect time to visit Walt Disney World.  The temperatures are comfortable; warm without being scorching hot, and the crowds are lower than usual since most schools are in session which means lower queue lines for most attractions.

In addition, you'll be able to take in the vibrant Fall and Halloween decorations and I highly recommend attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party if you get the chance!

A light sweater, sweatshirt, or jacket should be sufficient for warmth in the evenings!  Temperatures usually hold steady in the high 70s to low 80s in the daytime and drop to the mid 60s at night, which isn't too bad! You might find a flashlight to be handy when traveling to the buses, but the walk from the entryways to the loading areas is not very far and the path is very well lit at night!

I am not totally sure of the distance, but a direct route from Fantasmic's Hollywood Hills Amphitheater to the bus loading area is about a 10-15 minute walk.  You can visit the unofficial planning site AllEars.net to view a map of Hollywood Studios!  This will give you an idea of the distance!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
