Hello! I want to try the famous Ohana noodles at the Polynesian Resort during MNSSHP (8pmish) I was thinking about doing Kona Cafe to go, but there’s two noodles items listed on their menu and I’m not sure which one is the same as the Ohana noodles?

Welcome to planDisney, Annie! I'm so glad that I get to answer a question for you about my favorite thing at Walt Disney World Resort: the food. The noodles from 'Ohana are legendary but if you don't want to sit down to a whole all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, you do have another option and I'm happy to tell you all about it!

Annie, the special noodles aren't available at Kona Cafe but they can be ordered from Tambu Lounge, which is right next to the entrance to 'Ohana. They're not always on the menu, but you can typically order them even if they aren't listed so ask a Cast Member if they're available when you arrive. Tambu Lounge has lots of delicious small plates including the pot stickers you get at 'Ohana and some really tasty ribs so it's the perfect place to grab a bite to eat without having to make a reservation. Time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is precious, so I recommend not leaving in the middle of the Party, but planning a stop at Tambu Lounge as soon as they open at 4:00 PM so you can fill up before the spooky fun begins at 7:00 PM. Make sure to have a Backscratcher for me!

    Have a magical day, Annie!
