I would like to try to get connecting rooms with my parents who booked separately. They apparently requested it as an option when booking, but I didnt when I was booking. Is this something you can help me with?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Kathleen and welcome to planDisney.

I’m so happy to hEAR that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your parents, how exciting! Some of my favorite memories include trips with my Mouseketeers and their grandparents. It’s so incredible to see my parents recreate the memories they made with me, with them, and I’m so thankful to hold on to those memories.

Kathleen, don’t worry about a thing! You can try and update your check-in requests through the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you aren’t able to request the connecting rooms there, I recommend calling the Walt Disney World Resort to place your request over the phone. (TIP: Keep both reservation numbers handy just in case). Fingers crossed your request is met and you will have connecting rooms during your visit. It was so nice to have connecting rooms at Disney’s POP Century Resort with my parents. Especially when it came to bath time and picking up mobile orders, my family was able to pop on over and help with my little ones.

Have a great visit and please remember to capture as many photos as you can!
