Going to try to get in BoG for lunch soon, however, my kids as well as my DH are picky eaters. I believe I read somewhere that you can't omit items from your meal, such as mayo or honey Dijon sauce. Is this true?

    Hi Hope,

I can't stop raving about Be Our Guest Restaurant! I've been very fortunate to have dined there a few times and I've never had anything that was less than awesome!

With respect to their lunch service, I've got some good news for you! Guests do have the ability to request certain modifications to the entrees when using the touch-screen kiosks.

When I had lunch there a couple of weeks ago, I ordered the Croque Monsier without the béchamel sauce that normally comes on it. (I'm not a saucy guy when it comes to my sandwiches!) After I made my entree selection, I clicked on it and it gave me the option to omit the sauce.

If you find yourself having trouble navigating the menu, there will be a handful of cast members floating around the room that can help you with any questions you may have.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

You may have heard about "The Grey Stuff" that's served for guests celebrating special occasions. In case you want to try it, it's available at lunch on top of "The Master's Cupcake." It has a cookies-and-cream flavor, which goes well with the chocolate cake it sits on top of.

Here's a bonus tip from your buddy Derek:

While The Master's Cupcake is really good, my favorite lunchtime dessert at Be Our Guest Restaurant is actually the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake. It's very light and has just the right amount of sweetness.

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you'd like to chat more about this or any other restaurant in Walt Disney World!!

    Best regards,
    Derek
