Would like to try Beaches and Cream on our next visit but I donly really want to waste a table service dining credit on this location. Is it allowed to make a reservation and only order drinks and dessert and pay out of pocket?

    Hello Kerry-Anne,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

As someone who usually pays "out of pocket" for all of my meals at Walt Disney World Resort, I can tell you that you can absolutely dine at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort for drinks and dessert. We've done that several times, including that time we tried to conquer the kitchen sink. I'm sad to report that we failed to finish it... Apparently we're ice cream lightweights!

Please make sure to tell your waiter when you're guided to your table that you intend to pay cash for your meal and not use any Disney Dining Plan credits. It's also a good idea to check your bill to make sure that no credits were deducted following your meal.

Please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
